SPRING 2021

Board of Pharmacy (BOP) begins targeted, unannounced inspections of medical spas and issue citations.  The most common citation is for using Botox as a multi-dose vial when labeled single use.  AMPNH members hire a legal team to fight these citations since reconstitution of neurotoxin off label with bacteriostatic saline for multi-use is industry norm and best practice.

SUMMER 2021

AMPNH learns of a proposed bill that will target medispas unfairly and, if passed, would make NH one of the most regulated states in New England. The proposed Bill can be found (here).

JAN 2022

AMPNH members testify at the house committee hearing and ask house members to stop bill 1444.

FEB 2022

AMPNH’s testimony was able to push the bill to be studied for a 9 month period, meaning that it will not pass this session. AMPNH elects 9 Board members and establishes sub-committees to further our non-profit efforts in supporting medical aesthetic providers in NH.
